Grounded in Black liberation theology and Black feminist thought\, this session explores how Western constructs of love uphold oppression and limit our capacity for transformation. This session invites student affairs educators to ask a spatial question: where on campus do students experience connection\, recognition\, and full participation? Drawing on narrative research with Black African immigrant students\, participants will practice campus mapping and qualitative assessment approaches for locating where belonging happens and reading that evidence alongside survey data.
