SUMMARY:AI Across Campus: What the GenAI Survey Means for Student Affairs
DESCRIPTION:AI Across campus: what the genAI survey means for student affairs\npresented by the commission for assessment & evaluation (CAE)\nwednesday\, 19 november 2025 | 4:00-5:00pm ET\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArtificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping higher education at an astonishing pace\, though its realities look different across academic and student affairs. Drawing on results from the GenAI Survey for the Higher Education Professional—and building on strategies emerging from October’s Assessment Institute focus groups—this session will explore how AI tools are being used and what opportunities they present for student affairs practice. Presenters will share data-driven insights\, highlight practical strategies for ethical and effective use\, and invite discussion on how findings may translate differently for student affairs versus academic affairs in advancing student success. Attendees will leave with concrete examples\, resources for professional upskilling\, and a chance to reflect on what AI’s rise means for their own work. Artificial Intelligence is transforming higher education—but what does it mean for student affairs? Drawing on the GenAI Survey for the Higher Education Professional and strategies emerging from the October Assessment Institute focus groups\, this session explores how AI use in academic affairs may (or may not) translate to student affairs practice. Join us to examine emerging strategies\, ethical considerations\, and implications for advancing student success. \n\n\nThis webinar is presented by ACPA’s Commission for Assessment & Evaluation (CAE). \n  \n\n\nACPA/NASPA Professional Competencies: \nWebinar participants will develop their professional competencies in the areas of: Assessment\, Evaluation\, and Research; Leadership; and Technology. SUMMARY:Integrating AI Into Student Affairs Assessment
DESCRIPTION:The Commission on Assessment and Evaluation is excited to announce a webinar on Integrating AI into Student Affairs Assessment\, which will be held on November 4th from 3 – 4 pm EST and featuring Dr. Gavin Henning! Click here to register. \nThis webinar provides an overview and introduction to generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) for student affairs assessment professionals. Assessing the impact of programs and services on student learning\, development\, and success is a critical function in higher education. Despite its importance\, it’s often difficult for student affairs professionals to develop the skills to implement assessment and integrate assessment into daily practice. Generative AI holds great promise to more easily\, efficiently\, and effectively implement assessment as well as build assessment capacity. In this session\, participants will see demonstrations of AI in assessment and engage in conversation with colleagues on possible uses.
