We are committed to the well-being of our members and ensuring that our collective work within higher education is valued.

As an Association, we are non-partisan. This does not preclude us from raising concerns about policies and governmental actions that are antithetical to our mission and values and detrimental to the well-being of our members and those they serve. We will not shy away from living our mission and values. We are aware of the fear and uncertainty that many are facing as professionals and individuals. We believe that every member within ACPA and those we serve deserves the right to be their authentic selves in how they express and identify themselves.

ACPA Leadership is closely monitoring the new Executive Orders and potential legislation and the impacts to our members and their work in the United States. We are committed to keeping ACPA members informed and educated about these and other matters. There will be opportunities at ACPA25 coming up this February, as well as throughout the year to engage in conversation and learn about the new administration and its impact on the future of the field.

We will continue advocating for the value of higher education, the importance of community, and the need to center identity in our work.
