My favorite experience has been being a part of the Commission’s Directorate Board (DB) in various capacities, from the Vice-Chair for Educational Programs to Commission Chair. CGDSD has been the space where I was able to grow professionally and personally, both at the same time. The Commission has given me many opportunities to refine my leadership skills, to network with professionals across the globe, and to be proud of my background/ethnicity. The international community with CGDSD and those adjacent have been the anchor of my student affairs professional journey.
