Requesting Accommodations or Access to ACPA Member Resources & Services

Step One

Complete the ACPA General Access and Accommodations Form at least one week in advance of needing the requested support. This form was developed in response to recommendations from the ACPA Universal Design Task Force, which convened from 2020-2021. This can be completed to request assistance with:

  • ACPA Website
  • ACPA Publications
  • ACPA Career Center
  • ACPA Communications and Social Media
  • Any other needs that are not directly related to an in-person or virtual event
    • Each event has its own request process that is coordinated with the respective planning team. For accommodations and/or questions on a specific event, email [email protected] with the name of the event you are inquiring about.

Step Two

The ACPA General Access and Accommodations Form is received by the International Office and an initial response will be sent to the requestor within two (2) business days to confirm receipt of the request. This may also include an ask for additional information, sharing a potential timeline in meeting the accommodation, ability to provide the accommodation, etc.

Step Three

If able to provide the request, International Staff will work with the requestor and relevant staff and Association leaders to meet the request.

  • Director of Marketing and Communications: ACPA website, ACPA publication, social media, communications
  • Director of Entity Relations, Training, and Development: ACPA leader role or entity meeting
  • Director of Member Belonging: level-based professional development events
  • Director of Convention and Events: Convention, non-level based professional development events
