Higher Education Law Update and Town Hall

Join the College Personnel Association of Colorado (CPAC), the Commission for Admissions, Orientation, and First-Year Experience (CAOFYE), and W. Scott Lewis, J.D., managing partner of TNG Consulting, co-founder and advisory board member of ATIXA, and co-founder and advisory board chair of NABITA, as he provides an update regarding recent higher education law across the courts and what it means for higher education practitioners as we head into the 2026-2027 academic year.

Presenters:

W. Scott Lewis is a co-founder and advisory board member of ATIXA, co-founder and advisory board chair of NABITA, and nationally recognized for his work in the areas of Student/Staff Conduct, Behavioral Intervention/Threat Assessment Teams, Titles II, III, IV, VI, VII, IX, ADA, other civil rights laws, and general risk management in education. He is a past president of ASCA and served as a core member of the United States Olympic Committee’s Task Force that created the United States Center for SafeSport. Scott serves as a third-party neutral hearing advisor and decision-maker for sexual misconduct, discrimination, and Title IX grievance proceedings.
