who we are

The primary goal of the MultiRacial Network (MRN) is to raise consciousness and awareness of multiracial issues in higher education

The Multiracial Network (MRN), one of four (4) networks within the Coalition for Multicultural Affairs (CMA), strives to help create and foster inclusive spaces within ACPA and postsecondary education with and for students, staff, and professionals who identify as multiracial, multiethnic, transracial adoptees, and with fluid racial identities. This will be accomplished through developing intentional educational initiatives, engaging in critical dialogue and community building, and supporting institutional change through advocacy on our campuses and within the larger ACPA organization.

The Multiracial Network (MRN) seeks to be inclusive and welcomes everyone who is interested in advancing the organization’s goals.

mission

The mission of MRN is to provide both resources and information about working with multiracial multiethnic, transracial adoptees, and with fluid racial identities college students as well as support for multiracial student affairs professionals within ACPA.

Recognizing the value of learning, growth and development, we, the members of MRN, seek to be inclusive and welcoming to ACPA members who have a desire to advance the goals and objectives of MRN.

VISION

As we move forward into an increasingly multiracial/multiethnic society, the MRN seeks to advocate on behalf of multiracial multiethnic, transracial adoptees, and with fluid racial identities to, support those who work with/educate individuals with these identities, cultivate scholarly research, and gain a visible presence within CMA and the larger ACPA body.

Multiracial Network Convention Campaign

The mission of the Multiracial Network (MRN) mission is to provide both resources and information about working with multiracial, multiethnic, transracial adoptees, and with fluid racial identities college students as well as support for multiracial student affairs professionals within ACPA.

Our fundraising efforts are to help multiracial, multiethnic, transracial adoptees and those with fluid racial identities produce scholarship for these populations. By contributing to this fund, you will help the Multiracial Network provide scholarship grants and resources to continue to help progress the field.

Those who donate will be entered into a drawing for five Starbucks gift cards.
