Each year, ACPA’s Commission for Global Dimensions of Student Development (CGDSD) hosts the International Colloquium. This Colloquium brings together scholars, practitioners, and graduate students from around the world for a focused program on pressing global issues within higher education. Through invited presentations and facilitated dialogue, the Colloquium creates space for international and cross-cultural conversation while encouraging our members to deepen their engagement as global citizens.
This year’s Colloquium will explore several interconnected subthemes that reflect the complexity of student support and development in today’s global context. Our 2026 theme is: Facing Uncertainty: Global Student Development in Times of Fear and Change, and will include four sessions on 10 April, 17 April, 23 April, and 1 May, 2026 (descriptions below).
If you attend three (3) out of the four (4) sessions in our colloquium listed below, you are able to receive a Certificate of Completion. You must fill out the “Certificate Sign-up” form for each session by 11:59 PM (ET) on Sunday, May 3, 2026. Additional Details will be provided during the Colloquium.
