Each year, the Commission for Global Dimensions of Student Development hosts the International Colloquium that brings together scholars, practitioners, graduate students, and policymakers from around the world for a half-day or daylong program on pressing global issues within the profession. Each year’s Colloquium takes a different focus on a substantive issue related to student success. Invited speakers present and lead discussion and dialogue. Through the International Colloquium, our Commission creates space for and initiates international and cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration among higher and tertiary education professionals and encourages its members to become engaged global citizens.
This year too, the Commission for Global Dimensions of Student Development (CGDSD) of ACPA is excited to host the 2025 International Colloquium series, which is free and open to all ACPA members. The Colloquium will explore critical issues in higher education internationalization, focusing on international students’ education, well-being, and social justice in global contexts.
If you attend three (3) out of the four (4) sessions in our colloquium listed below, you are able to receive a Certificate of Completion. You must fill out the “Certificate Sign-up” form for each session by 11:59 PM (ET) on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Additional Details will be provided during the Colloquium.
