ACPA has earned a Power of Associations Silver Award from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) for the Strategic Imperative for Racial Justice and Decolonization. ASAE’s Power of Associations Awards recognize the associations’ economic and societal contributions locally, nationally and globally.
ACPA submitted within the Diversity and Inclusion category, which recognizes associations that have addressed diversity and inclusion in any of the following four areas: workplace/workforce D+I; operational excellence; governance, volunteer and member recruitment, retention and engagement; and cultural competence programming and resource development.
ACPA was also recognized by ASAE in 2020 as one of the “top associations changing the world.”
