Recognition is an important component to member engagement, recruitment, and retention. ACPA is seeking applicants to become a part of the ACPA Awards and ACPA Award Reviewer Committee.
The Awards Committee coordinates ACPA’s annual awards process including over 150 opportunities to recognize outstanding professionals, scholars, programs, mentors, colleagues, and graduate students through our Association-wide and individual entity awards. Committee members help in the distribution of information regarding the awards nomination process, aid as necessary in the development of selection committees, and coordinate the awards reception at Convention.
Members of the ACPA Awards Committee should expect to:
- Participate in monthly conference calls May through November, and bi-weekly calls December through March.
- Work on tasks related to the coordination of awards and collection of recipient information and award processes between calls.
- Attend ACPA’s annual International Convention to aid in the production of the awards ceremony, reception, and related events.
- Serve a three year term on the ACPA Awards Committee to support our recognition efforts from 2022-2025.
